This mini pattern collection is inspired by a camping and hiking trip in the Green Mountain National Forest of Vermont. An ankle injury had forced me to slow down and after a short hike, I settled in by the campfire and started drawing and painting everything around me. This collection features my surroundings as well as the map that guided me in those surroundings. This collection highlights the beauty and importance of protected land, especially our National Forests.

Inspired by my time studying ecology on Svalbard in the Norwegian Arctic, this collection aims to share the beauty and complexity of some the flora and fauna that bring life to the harsh Arctic environment. The Arctic tundra is disproportionately impacted by climate change and through this collection, I hope to bring greater visibility to this ecosystem and its threatened species.

This collection is inspired by spring in rural Vermont. It is about transition, growth, and trusting the process. From the smell of warm dirt and the call of peepers to the tiny ephemeral wildflowers and longer days, spring in Vermont is a fleeting treat for the senses and a time of New Beginnings.
