We’ve had a rather rapid shift to winter here in Vermont which I’m pretty excited about. As the temperatures drop and snow accumulates, I’ve been finding some fun and intricate crystal patterns tucked into the frozen landscape. They’ve reminded me of a pattern I designed over the summer which was inspired by ice crystals I saw in the Arctic over a decade ago. While I’m sure those crystals no longer exist, I’ve “frozen” the memory in my pattern (and in the photo I took at the time).
