You might be thinking to yourself… flowers in November? While flowers are definitely not what jumps to mind first this time of year in northern Vermont, I wanted to share the final blooms I’m currently witnessing along my local road. It feels fitting that the Red Clover (Trifolium pratense), our state flower, is still hanging on this late into the cold season.
